"Accept what is, let go of what was, have faith in what will be." -Sonia Ricotti: The cycle of the sun as it sets and rises is daily proof that the darkness in life is only temporary. This applies both literally and figuratively. The glorious sun may bless us with its warmth and beauty when it is high in the sky... but what happens when it sneaks beneath the horizon and we are consumed by darkness? We can get lost in the blackness of the night or we can embrace it. We can accept that night has fallen and revel in that fact until the sun rises again.

When the day ends, and the night falls, the darkness is not eternal.

As the sun sets on today, remember that tomorrow will come. So give thanks for that which the sun is setting on and look forward to the new adventures and opportunities that will rise with the sun in the days ahead.

Close your eyes and breathe. Things are going to be okay. ♥
