How do you fix paint scrapes on a silicone mermaid tail? What if your silicone mermaid tail is starting to lose some of its paint? How do you repaint your silicone mermaid tail? DO NOT WORRY! ♥ It is quite easy to cover up scrapes on your tail and this tutorial will show you how I do it. My MerNation mermaid tail is nearly 3 years old and still looks as good as new through good care and a lot of love. ♥

Common areas that tend to take a lot of damage include the fluke (especially parts that stick out further than the rest... and the underside) and the heel area. Sometimes the area where your butt goes can wear down quickly too... but that really depends on if you're careful about what you sit on or not.

Please contact your silicone mermaid tail maker before following the steps in this video. Be very careful when working with pigmented Sil-Poxy, as you do not want to accidentally get it on non-damaged areas of your tail. Make sure to use proper protection when following the steps in this video, and ensure that you are working in a well-ventilated area.
